Designed for the novice

Beginning Rock Band and Beginning Girl Band are intended for kids with little experience who would like to try something new. Although limited to six students per group, the instrumentation and creativity that stem from these intensive workshops are limitless. In past classes we have used electric guitar, drums, piano, electric bass, synthesizers, multiple percussion instruments, lead vocals and harmonies, cello, melodica, flute, oboe, ukelayle and trumpet. Skills learned in these classes include group thinking and cooperation, group and solo expression, students will be exposed to new types of music and musicians, and an opportunity to try new instruments and gain valuable skills on the instrument the student is studying. Both Girl Band and Rock Band are 5 day intensive study workshop classes taught by 2 teachers will loads of experience being in bands and teaching. There will be a performance at the end of the week so students, parents and teachers can enjoy all the hard work put forth. These classes are perfect for the ambitious beginner.
